The Knowledge Center

Have you ever found yourself searching through dozens of Campus Crusade websites, looking for an answer that should be really simple to find...and coming up empty handed?

It seems like it should be simple to find good answers to common questions.  Theoretically, it’s really straightforward.

Reality is different.  Knowledge is scattered across many websites, manuals, and in the heads of others. Staff and volunteers find it difficult and time consuming to find the answers they need.

So what are we doing about it?  We're partnering to provide a Knowledge Center.

What is the Knowledge Center?  Well the short answer is that it's a place online that connects you to the knowledge of Campus Crusade.  It’s a continually growing resource that contains answers to most questions we as staff have.  Ministries are adding answers to questions there daily.

A shorter anwer is that The Knowledge Center is like a huge FAQ site for all of Campus Crusade.

Now then, the Knowledge Center (powered by RightNow) seeks to make the public information of Campus Crusade for Christ available 24 hours a day to staff, volunteers, and donors. The goal is to provide easy, immediate access to the wealth of information within our movement. 

Access to this information involves:

  • Creating a knowledge base that effectively and continuously captures information from staff experts
  • Using that knowledge base as a centralized, web-based repository of information where everyone can find the answers needed
  • Leveraging that knowledge base across all channels of communication, so that there is one common answer to every question, whether it comes by email, website, chat, or telephone

Did you know that almost 1,000 questions and answers are already available through StaffWeb or www.ccci.org websites and our call centers?  Soon, you’ll be able to access this information in Global ConneXion. You can also access them directly from the Knowledge Center itself.

The Knowledge Center is a growing partnership between the following ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ: President’s Office, Staff Services Group, Financial Services Group, Donations Services Group, Information Technology Group, Campus Ministry, and the Global Technology Office. As more ministries begin adding their knowledge into the center, this partnership will continue to grow.
